Being fortunate enough to live in New Zealand close to many beautiful beaches, our children grew up making sandcastles, paddling in the ocean and collecting shells. One of their favourite shells was the one worn away in the centre that stayed in one piece that they could then pop on their finger and pretend it was a ring like Mummy's. That gave us the idea to collect one of these shells and then create a mold and then cast it in silver and create this fabulous pendant. 

We are so pleased with the end result, sometimes we leave it plain silver, but this wonderful piece features a gorgeous blue/green Australian opal. The opal measures 10 x 8mm.

The pendant is created using 925 sterling silver, and has been made 100% in New Zealand, this is a one off piece.
