The colour of these 6 x 4mm natural citrine stones are just fabulous, very similar to amber - carrying that well known goldeny brown. The stones are cabochon cut (meaning smoothly polished) and have a lovely warmth to them.
They are claw set and the earrings and butterflies are sterling silver.
Citrine is said to hold the power of the sun and to be a warming energising stone, which makes sense given its colouring and resemblance to the sun! It is also one of Novembers birthstones - the other being Topaz.
