Amber is not actually a gemstone - rather, it is a fossilised tree resin that can be 100's, 1,000's or even millions of years old. This piece is really beautiful with interesting inclusions (the bits you can see in the amber) and it has a glorious warm colour.

The ring has been made by us (well, by my husband actually) and can be resized to fit, just let us know your ring size when completing the purchase - there is a notes section at checkout and you can pop your ring size there for us. If you don't know your ring size, ask for one of our rather nifty sizing kits - sent to you free of charge.

The ring is reasonably chunky with a band that tapers at the back of your finger for a super comfortable fit.

The amber measures 16 x 12mm and sits approx 10mm up from your finger. As amber is reasonably soft, this ring is better suited to wear as a dress ring rather than all day every day. We recommend removing before swimming, gardening, washing dishes etc to protect the stone.
