The black lipped pearl oyster is a non threatened bi-valve shell, commonly found throughout the Pacific region and is commonly used in jewellery for obvious reasons! When it is polished and set in silver it creates the most beautiful jewellery. In reality the colours are more caramel and deep brownish/black - look stunning with gold jewellery as well as silver.
