At SilverStone Gold we know the importance of special occasions and we know how the perfect piece of jewellery can make that special occasion everlastingly memorable. Handmade in New Zealand, designed in conjunction with you, our aim is to create the diamond ring of your dreams.
Alex is a Manufacturing Jeweller with over 25 years experience working with precious metals and stones, from the design concept through to completion - we keep you informed every step of the way.
We created this ring for Jane who wanted a very special ring made for a very special occasion (our lips are sealed!) Happy Birthday to you!
Recently one of our wonderful customers celebrated a very special (no numbers mentioned!) birthday!
She did not need to think about what she wanted for her birthday - she knew!
For some years Jane had dreamed of the 'perfect' ring - she knew exactly what she wanted - and now it was time to turn that dream into reality! Jane wanted her handmade diamond ring to be stylish, yet classic, bold without being too ostentatious.
It was our honour to be chosen to commission the creation of her dreams. We sat with her and chatted about what she wanted the end result to be and what were the most important aspects of the ring.
When it comes to diamonds, ladies, size DOES matter - but it is not everything - you do not want to comprimise on quality or colour.
Jane was set on having three diamonds of equal size, each one representing one of her beloved three daughters. The design she settled on showcased each of the three diamonds at its best - lots of light coming through under the diamonds to give an across the room radiance.
And radiant is what Jane's face was when her gorgeous husband gave her this ring for that very special birthday.
3 x 3/4 carat diamonds, 18ct yellow gold with 18ct white gold for the setting - magnificant!!
This is not a ring to be tucked away in a drawer and brought out on special occasions - this is an every day ring - although she assures me she takes it off when gardening or doing housework!
Jane is loving her dream ring and receives comments and compliments every day.
